Terms of service
Last updated 4 August 2026.
These terms are a plain-English summary of the agreement between you and Shinsa (operated from the United Kingdom) when you use our software.
1. What Shinsa provides
Shinsa provides a hosted enquiry journey and structured brief for trades through a monthly or yearly subscription. You can also choose a one-off professional website installation service. The hosted page is included in the subscription; installation means adding Shinsa to an existing website you control and testing the complete enquiry journey on desktop and mobile.
If you purchase installation, you must provide suitable website or CMS access and reasonable cooperation. We will tell you before work starts. If the website platform prevents installation, we will explain the available alternatives before treating the service as delivered.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login details private and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
3. Payments
Subscription and optional installation fees are quoted in GBP and processed by our payment provider. Subscriptions renew at the billing interval selected at checkout until cancelled.
4. Cancellation and refunds
There's no lock-in and no cancellation fee. Cancel through your billing portal, email hello@shinsa.co.uk from the address on your account, or reply to any Shinsa email. We'll confirm emailed cancellations within one working day.
- Your subscription stops renewing at the end of the current period.
- We don't pro-rate mid-period refunds for the monthly fee.
- Optional professional installation fees are non-refundable once installation work has started.
- In your first 30 days live, cancel and we refund your first monthly payment.
Your hosted enquiry page stays live until the end of your paid period. After that we take it offline and any incoming traffic receives a friendly "no longer available" page. You can request an export of enquiries received while your account was active; reactivating later is a single email.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Shinsa to send spam, mislead customers, or do anything unlawful. We can suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. Availability
We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Planned maintenance will be announced by email where possible.
7. Liability
Our liability is capped at the fees you've paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be dealt with in the English courts.
